Re: Do we need a striker?
Obviously at least 1 central midfielder who can defend pass a football is needed as an absolute priority, next in line someone to link play with a forward as well as a striker. Consider Arnautovic getting injured - Carroll out for the season as per usual, Sakho definitely can't be relied on, Antonio has become injury prone, that would leave us with Hernandez who is probably the last striker in world football who fits with the clear style of play that Moyes favours.

This club is too fucking predictable. Was only a matter of time.

Kouyate as chief support in attack to Hernandez. We might as well not turn up.

I’m sure having some of SHITTEST training facilities about has no impact on the number of injuries our players get.

FFS!!! What is our luck like. This is terrible news. Our two best players out within two days.

The next month or so is going to be an absolute bastard.

Unless Moyes can perform some motivational magic I hate to say it but I fear that we'll be sliding back toward the bottom three.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Bournemouth - The Official Match Thread
We’re relying on Arnie and Manu for the attacking flair. Let’s hope they don’t get injured.

Whoops!

Wonder if Moysey will go Ian Pearce or Les Sealey upfront against Palace? Can't for the life of me think of anyone else more suited to the position

It's West Ham so it will be true. Just how it works unfortunately.

The only other time this idiot got something right was when he told us that Cresswell was out for four months having picked up an injury a couple of pre-seasons back.

To be fair it did look like Arnie was carrying an injury of sorts Saturday. He didn't pull up abruptly like Lanzini, but whenever there was a break in play he was constantly stretching out his hamstring so obviously had felt something. This was from about 10 minutes in.

FFS!

We were just starting to look up the table, now it's back to being happy with survival alone, if this is true, on top of Lanzini and Antonio and Carol injuries, and Sakho AWOL in the head.

We can only hope for a pleasant surprise from the youngsters and b listers.....

...and the window? No, now I'm going too far.

Re: Arnie done his hamstring
Thought to myself this morning “wouldn’t it just be our luck if Arnie Gets injured too”

FFS what is wrong at this club? Who did we wrong so badly that they would curse us like this?. When will we get through a season without Havign to deal with injury crises? Our attacking force has been wiped out in the space of a week. Palace, Brighton and Watford must be rubbIng their hands, and as for the cup tie it can just fuck off, it’s a truly unwanted distraction now.
